From our entire church family, welcome to First Christian Church of Winter Park. We are glad that you are thinking about coming to visit us!

Our worship services include songs that relate to a central message, connecting the truth of Scripture with what we are currently facing in life. Through the use of preaching, worship, creativity, and personal experiences, we strive to present the Gospel in a clear and fresh way.

We have two services on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am and 11:00 am. The services are mostly the same but the style of worship is different. In our 8:30 service you will hear more hymns and medleys with an occasional special from our choir. Our 11:00 service is a mixture of newer modern worship songs and an occasional hymn that has been updated.

Don't worry about what to wear this Sunday. You'll feel at home whether in shorts and stylish sandals, your favorite jeans, or "Sunday best." We are a church that is more excited about worshipping together than worried about how you are dressed.

Our Mission

Jesus commanded his followers to seek and to save the lost by bringing them into an intimate relationship with Him. With that in mind... First Christian Church of Winter Park exists to lead people to a life changing connection with Jesus Christ. We fulfill this mission through our process called Win.Train.Send Win people to Christ Train them to become committed followers Send them to change the world

Our Legacy

In September of 1957 an organizational meeting was held on Winter Park Avenue with 15 people present. They all met with one purpose in mind and that was to begin a Christian Church in Winter Park.

The very first service was held on October 6, 1957, with 36 people becoming members. Ground breaking services were held on May 31, 1959, and the educational building was ready for services.

We are a growing church which seeks to meet the needs of our community. We support numerous missions, both foreign and domestic.

From our children and youth programs to our Senior Adult Ministry, God is doing great things in His church at Winter Park, Florida.

What We Believe

There is only one God, the God of the Bible. He is the Creator, Redeemer, and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is known as Father,

came as the Son, and lives in believers as the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, co-equal with the Father. He is the Savior of the world. He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate his power over sin and death. He is still alive and changing lives today.

The Holy Spirit is a comforter and guide for every Christian. He is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with strength to face every day, the ability to understand what spiritual truth is, and direction in doing what is right.

The Bible is God’s Word to us. It is true, accurate, and authentic; it is our guide for life.

We have all messed up. We have all sinned and we need help. We all need a Savior but we also need each other, and that's what God's Church is all about.

Salvation is God’s gift to us, but we must choose to accept it. We can never make up for our sin with our good works. The Bible tells us we must believe that Jesus is God's Son, repent of our sin, confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and be baptized (immersed) to be saved. Eternity When God created us, He stamped His image on our souls. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence, and we will all go to one or the other based on our response to Jesus Christ.
